Good morning,
Wet and windy! Still nothing from offshore. Am I starting to sound like a broken record? On the bright side I think the weekend should be fish-able (especially Sunday and Monday).
Inshore has still been pretty good. There are some nice snook being caught on live bait on the flats. I have heard of several in the thirty pound class. Trout fishing has been really good this Spring. In fact the numbers of trout seem to be about like it was 15 years ago. I think it is due to less fresh water in the lagoon although that is going to change due to a predicted El Nino summer. Redfishing has been o.k. There are some fish North of Harbor Branch and on the Moorings flats, as well as some scattered fish between Little Mud and Bear Point. There have been some decent flounder in between spoils in deeper water best caught on an outgoing tide.
Have a great day,
-Scott
