Good Morning,
We did not hear of anyone fishing offshore yesterday, but spoke to Capt. Glen Cameron of Floridian Charters this morning who fished offshore on Sunday. They had several gaffer dolphin and released a couple of Sailfish. Good dolphin fishing should return as soon as the weather settles down a bit.
Inshore reports from the south jetty in Ft. Pierce from last night included a Snook and Tarpon caught with First Light jigs on the pink and chartreuse color combination. Kadri Benton said the fish bite turned on with the incoming tide last night. Some of the Tarpon are in the 100#-150# range. Some Snook were also taken in the turning basin area last night on jigs. The flats have been producing some good Snook and Trout results early in the the morning both north and south of the turning basin on the catch 2000 Mirrolure.
Have a great day, Donald.
