Good morning,
The good news was fishing was great all week. The bad, you can probably figure out by looking at a flag this morning. We fished out front Thursday and had several nice dolphin then came into the reef and caught 20 or more kingfish in and hour or so. Moon Crossman fished Thursday and Friday and had good dolphin action both days, the largest fish was 47 pounds. The Last Mango had 3 out of 3 sails yesterday as well as some nice dolphin. Across the stream on Thursday most everyone found great tuna fishing. Most fish were between 40-70 pounds with a few 80’s thrown in. I didn’t hear of any marlin bites but there were some big dolphin caught up to 60 pounds.
Inshore, there have been a couple of nice schools of redfish starting to work the area. They seem to be the same size fish as last year at this time, most between 26-30 inches. There are still some really nice trout laid up in the shallow stuff and the snook have moved into the mangroves and on the shorelines. It seems like Spring is finally here. Enjoy!!!
Have a great weekend!
