Good morning,
Offshore, there have been some nice dolphin caught since the weekend. There wasn’t an abundance of them, although I heard of one in the mid forties and several in the high twenties. The kingfish bite is still silly on the high drop and the offshore bar. Bottom fishing sounded pretty consistent with some nice genuines on the 80-90′ areas and some decent greys in the mix. I would expect the trolling to get pretty good within the next few weeks. There were several nice yellowfins caught North of the corner up to 65 pounds.
Inshore, snook fishing still seems a little slow at night. Pompano are still around and concentrated in certain areas, although the large bodies seem to have pushed on. Trout fishing is still pretty good and the docks along South Indian River Drive have been holding some nice sized fish.
Have a great day!
