Good morning,
Well it doesn’t look like it will be quite as calm as the said for the weekend, but it should be fish-able non the less. It looks like 3-4 throughout the weekend but I think it will be more swell than anything else by Saturday. We should start to see some better sized dolphin show up this month and into April and May. Last year at this time we caught some pretty sizable fish so hopefully this year will follow suit. There should be some more rays and cobias pushing through with any luck as well. Some really nice bottom fish were caught last weekend including a nice grey grouper at 42 pounds. Mike Yavorsky fished on the reef as well and had a nice bag of red snappers.
Inshore seemed to be pretty quiet this week. Sam Crutchfield has still been working on the pompano and catching an average of around 8 a morning (on bucktail jigs). There are still some really nice trout around and plenty of bluefish and ladyfish to keep busy in between.
Hope you have a great weekend, good luck!
