Hello to all,
Fishing has taken a turn for the best. The cobia fishing was great yesterday out front and the corner is going off!
The cobia’s were caught yesterday both to the north and to the south. Some guys in Sebastian reported catching some in 70′ straight out of the Sebastian inlet. They were bait fishing when the cobias surrounded the boat. Then some reports came in of a few fish caught off the power plant. They were reported to be on manta rays. Hopefully the conditions stay right for them to stick around!
The fishing on the corner has been great the last few days with billfish, tuna, wahoo, and dolphin everywhere. Several people have reported tunas feeding on flying fish without a bird in sight, so it will be hard to find them with a radar. The fish are between 30-50# with a few larger fish sighted but nun caught. John Conlon caught 6 wahoo yesterday with the largest tipping the scale at 50#. All of his fish were caught on ACE wahoo lures high speeding. The dolphin fishing has been great also over there with several fish over 35# being caught each day.
Good luck,
Geoff
