We still haven’t heard much from offshore the last couple of days due to the high winds and and rough sea conditions. We do know that the freshwater releases have continued to add to the decline in water quality. Fishing conditions should recover quickly however so you will want to be ready for the fall mullet run.
Sebastian inlet continues to support a great Snook bite with anglers reporting Red Tail Hawks working best. Sam Crutchfield told us that he fished Taylor Creek this morning with little success because the water is not flowing over the spillway. This is good news for us as water conditions in the lagoon should recover fast.
Don’t forget to get your gear ready for the Inshore Classic tournament September 27.
Have great day, Donald.
