We received no reports yesterday from offshore due to more WIND and poor conditions.
Inshore was difficult (for me anyway) as well. We had Bill Dance down yesterday to do an inshore show and pretty much struck out. We casted to over 25 reds and saw close to 60 and never got one to eat. We also saw numerous LARGE snook on the flats that wouldn’t cooperate either. We ended up with a couple small fish but not enough for a show. I think we are going to try again next week. Those guys are an absolute blast and we had a great time despite the fishing. I learned that it is a tough job producing t.v. shows. It seems like they are always tough to catch when you have to catch them! From others I spoke to I got similar reports yesterday. It seems like many people saw a lot of fish but couldn’t make much happen. Hopefully this high pressure will get out of here and the fish will start biting. On the positive side, we saw an absolute ton of fish yesterday, so when it turns on it should be excellent fishing.
Have a great day!
