Good morning,
Redfish and snook have been the highlight of the last few days with some great catches on topwater plugs. I heard of a snook yesterday that eat a topwater that measures 42". It was hooked in very shallow water, caught in deeper water, revived, and released back in the shallow water ready to be caught again. There are also plenty of reds around. They’re schooled up, so if you run into them chances are your going to find a number of fish. They have been eating topwaters, but an Exude Dart or Berkley Gulp have been producing good action. This just in!!!! Scott’s fishing in the river and just pulled off a "real nice snook" and found a school of big snook on the flats. He is going to be fishing with Bill Dance the next few days, so stay tuned for their daily fishing action.
Good luck,
Geoff
