Good morning,
I’m sorry I wasn’t in town this weekend to know want happened here. I was in the Everglades with my buddy Brian. We did some canoe fishing in a few shallow bays on the outside. We caught some redfish and snook on Gulp jerk baits and MirrOLure Catch Jr’s. I’ve got some good pictures I’ll put up on the website.
As far as the Inshore fishing around here goes, it has been pretty good. Scott is in the river right now and has had great fishing already this morning. He called me at 8:00 this morning and told me he had just let go a 35" redfish on a smelt colored Gulp jerk shad. I also talked to several people yesterday that have been catching several redfish per trip north in the river as well as a few redfish but alot of trout south in the river near Bear Point and Middle Cove.
Snook fishing from the jetty has also been good. Redtail Hawks have been the choice. Pink, Chartreuse, and Yellow have been the colors that are catching the most.
Good Fishing,
Geoff
