Good Morning,
Wow! The weather person was sure wrong yesterday ,
it has turned out to be great day for fishing either inshore or offshore today. Reports from offshore yesterday were were slim to none. However this morning we have already heard that the dolphin bite continues offshore with an unidentified boat reporting some dolphin one at twenty five pounds.
The inshore report from yesterday continues to be strong. Snook are all over the lagoon with some huge fish spotted on the flats, north of the north bridge seems to be best for snook, trout and redfish. Capt. Moon Crossman caught seven snook last evening one at thirty inches and one redfish using berkley Gulp jerkshads in bonejack and sugarspice glow colors. Bob Hartwein caught a snook at twenty seven inches, and went to release the fish and a big snook came up and rolled underneath the fish he had just released. Looks like today and tomorrow will be awesome fishing days so try to get out and enjoy them. I’m sure we will have plenty to report in the next few days. Have a great weekend.
