Good morning,
I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We were able to run across yesterday and had our best tuna day ever! We caught 12 fish over 100#’s and three blue marlin. April Fools!!!!! Unfortunately the wind has held us all back again. The fishing offshore of Ft. Pierce has remained good however. There are still some decent numbers of dolphin around and the snapper fishing has been good on the bottom. It looks like this week is going to be pretty crumby with high winds through Saturday.
There were nice snook caught all weekend long. We heard reports from Taylor Creek, Sebastian, the Inlet, the Coast Guard Station, and the bridges. All of these areas were exceptional this weekend. We had another customer who caught 8 nice flounder in the inlet as well. The flats have still been holding good numbers of fish. We saw some decent redfish Saturday although we only convinced one to bite. It was a decent fish tailing in about four inches of water. It looks like the inshore scene will be your best bet this week. Hopefully by Sunday the wind will allow for offshore fishing.
Have a great day!
