Hello all,
Sorry the report is a little late. I heard of a few sails being caught this morning. It sounded like the Floridian had a couple and a few others had one. There were a few dolphin caught already as well. I talked to some of our bottom fishing buddies and it sounds like it has been pretty tough. There have been some scattered grouper caught and quite a few amberjacks. On the swordfishing front, haven’t heard much although Elson on the Outer Limits is going tonight so we will have a report tomorrow. We are going to go Saturday night as well so stay tuned!
Snook season is right around the corner and the fishing has been hot. There are plenty of fish in the inlet and at the bridges. It sounds like it will be off to a great start, regardless of the tail pinching, small slot and one fish limit?????? There are still some reds on the Round Island Flats and pompano around Bradley’s Reef. We are heading to Titusville in the a.m. to fish the Lagoon so I will report back Friday on that.
Hope everyone has a great night, get rested up for snook season!
