Good morning,
The Floridian has fished the last couple days and has OK sailfishing. He caught three on Saturday and Sunday, and caught one yesterday. I haven’t heard any mention of any other critters bites offshore though. The offshore forecast looks great for the rest of the week, so I hope some of you guys can get out this week.
Good fishing south in the river continues with more big trout being caught near the power lines. The redfish however have all been caught north of Fort Pierce near Round Island. Most anglers are reporting Gulp shrimp and gold spoons have been the ticket. For you guys that like to fish the north end of Vero Beach the reds have also been eating Gulp under the mangroves up there.
If anyone gets out and gets a great photo of their caught don’t forget to email it to us. It might just appear in the photo gallery.
Have a great day,
Geoff
