Good Morning,
I talked to Glenn on the Floridian last night. He spent his day fishing on the bottom yesterday. He reported mangrove snappers and triggerfish on the south end of the offshore bar. He also told me bait, greenies in particular, was plentiful outside the inlet south of the buoys. I also talked to one of our customers that bottom fished up to the north. He said the water was cold and bites were few and far between. He did catch a few groupers and snappers late in the day. I didn’t talk to anyone that trolled yesterday, but some guys trolled the day before last and caught dolphins and sails. One boat that’s here from down south caught 3 out of 7 sails, and the day before caught 20 dolphins. All his action was to the north in 150′.
The inshore report hasn’t changed much. Scott’s fishing in the river this morning, so we should have a good report from him when he returns. If your thinking about going inshore in the morning give us a call this afternoon and we can fill ya in.
Have a good weekend,
Geoff
