Good Morning,
Yesterday was a pretty good day offshore. Moon Crossman and the crew of the "Twenty" caught 3 out of 6 sails and 7 dolphin. The "Floridian" had several nice sized dolphin as well. I heard of one boat out of Stuart that had 5 sails as well. Looks like it’s going to be a little bumpy the next few days but it should be fish able towards the end of the weekend.
Inshore, there have been some pompano caught towards the South around the spoils from Thumb Point to Middle Cove. Try fishing the deeper sides of the spoils with the on the back side of the current. Gulfstream Pompano jigs work great this time of year in both pink and bronze colors. Don’t be surprised to be some sizable trout in the same areas. I heard of a few more decent size flounder caught in the inlet yesterday on 3" Gulp Shrimp.
Have a great weekend!
