We’ve got some windy conditions today, then turning westerly, which should calm the surf back down and perk things up. Pompano and Whiting fishing has been pretty good of late on sand fleas, and Snook numbers are starting to creep up just a bit as well. Fort Pierce Inlet is yielding some good Snook activity at night on flare hawk jigs, and larger Redfish are being caught during the day on live bait and jigs. Offshore anglers are finding scattered Dolphin and Sailfish in the 100′ to 120′ range. Some Cobia are being caught in closer as well. Inshore the bigger Snook are still around, mostly on the flats and around docks. Soft plastics, live bait, and flies have all fooled some quality fish of late. Seatrout numbers are still strong as well, with soft plastics and live shrimp accounting for most of them. Good luck out there.
