Some tough winds are going to make fishing offshore and in the surf pretty tough for several days. The good news is that inshore fishing has been pretty good. Snook continue to inhabit the flats and shorelines, with some real quality fish around. Live baiters have been able to find plenty of bait such as finger mullet and pilchards, and those fishing artificials have had success with soft plastics such as the NLBN Mini Mullet and DOA CAL paddle tails. Seatrout numbers are a bit less than they were a month ago, but fish are still being caught along the spoil islands. Sheepshead are also showing up on the flats, with live shrimp or fiddler crabs working best. Redfish numbers still seem better north of Sebastian Inlet. Good luck out there.
