Conditions have obviously been tough the last few days, but nicer weather is ahead, and hopefully the fishing will get going again. Surf conditions will likely take several days to clear up, but hopefully the Spanish Mackerel and Pompano will get rolling again when they improve. Offshore is likely to be rough for a few more days, but hopefully the cooler weather will spur on some better Sailfish and Kingfish activity. Inshore fishing has been the only real option of late, but thankfully Seatrout and Sheepshead fishing has been good. Sheepshead have been active around the bridges, with fiddler crabs being the best as usual. Seatrout have been prevalent on the flats and spoil islands, mostly caught on soft plastics. Snook in the inlets has been off due to the swell, but hopefully will rebound as it calms. Good luck out there.
