Things are calming down after the heavy winds of the last few days, hopefully leading to some cleaner, calmer surf. Spanish Mackerel have been active in the inlets, with spoons and metals doing most of the work. Offshore, Sailfish have been active in 200′ of water, boding well for the Pelican going on now. Inshore, Seatrout catches continue to improve, with quality fish being caught along the shorelines on live bait and soft plastics, particularly south of Round Island. Snook are still prevalent as well, but the cooler temps may make them tough to get to cooperate. Redfish numbers seem to slowly tick up as well. Good luck up there.
