Cool weather is with us for the next few days, and it has sparked some better fishing. Surf anglers have seen some good catches of Pompano of late, on sand fleas and Fish Gum. Spanish Mackerel have also been prevalent along the beaches, mostly being caught on spoons and metals, with Bluefish and Jack Crevalle around as well. Offshore boats have reported good catches of Dolphin in the 100′ to 120′ range, with good Mangrove Snapper activity in 80′ of water. Snook fishing in the inlets has been good of late at night on jigs, with some Tarpon thrown in as well. The turning basin has also produced well. Inshore, the cooler temps should slow the Snook bite down a bit, but it should also spark even better Seatrout fishing, and clean the water up a bit, making sight fishing more predictable. Good luck out there.
