While rougher conditions have made fishing the surf difficult, mullet have been on the move, with activity at times on the beach and especially around the inlets. Hopefully as things calm down for the weekend it will get rolling in the surf. Snook, Jack Crevalle, and Tarpon have all been active around the mullet. Live mullet, NLBN Mullet, Yo-Zuri Fingerling, and DOA Bait Busters have all produced. Snook and Redfish have both been active at Sebastian Inlet, mostly on the south side. Inshore, Seatrout have been good around the spoil islands, and Snook, baby Tarpon, and Jack Crevalle have all been active around the relief canals and culverts following the heavy rains of the weekend. NLBN 3″ paddle tails and smaller plugs have all been good, and topwater plugs have been effective early and late around the mullet schools. Good luck out there.
