There’s been a touch of cooler air in the mornings, a signal that Fall is coming. There’s still plenty of mullet inside, and Seatrout catches have been solid. Fish the spoil islands with paddle tail soft plastics, twitch baits, or even topwater plugs early for success. Redfish have also been more frequent along the shorelines, and Snook as well. For those looking to have some fun, larger Jack Crevalle have been marauding the schools of mullet along the seawalls in areas like the Moorings, with some Snook mixed in. Surf fishing is still hit and miss, with wave heights still a bit high. Calmer conditions look to be coming, hopefully that gets things going. Offshore anglers have had good catches of Dolphin and scattered Sailfish in the 80′ to 100′ range. Fort Pierce and Sebastian inlets have been productive for Redfish and Snook, as well as some Tarpon. Good luck out there.
