Good morning everyone. This Friday and Saturday the season opens up for Red Snapper, and the conditions look great for most to get out and partake. We’re stocked up with the bait and gear you need, so stock up and get out there. Kingfish have also been active in the 70′ to 80′ range, and Sailfish have been active in the Stuart area, though scattered weed has made trolling a bit difficult. Nearshore, Tarpon and some larger Jack Crevalle continue to provide some thrills, on live bait and swimbaits. Surf fishing has been difficult, with weed blanketing many beaches. Snook have been caught though by those seeking out cleaner beaches. Inshore, baby Tarpon and Snook continue to be the best bet, particularly early morning. Deeper shorelines and basins have been the best bet, with DOA TerrorEyz and the new NLBN 3″ Paddle Tails working the best. Good luck out there.
