Good morning everyone. The recent high winds have lightened a bit of late, allowing anglers to head offshore, and they’ve been rewarded with solid Kingfish catches. Most fish are in the 70′ to 80′ range, with live greenies working the best. The Indian River Lagoon has perked up a bit of late, with more Redfish catches occurring, and even Seatrout numbers improving. Soft plastics and live shrimp have been the best bet. Snook fishing in the IRL has remained good, with plenty of larger fish still on the flats and shorelines. Snook fishing in the inlets has been hit or miss of late, but those putting in the time jigging at night have caught their share. Surf anglers have been dealing with an abundance of weed due to the high winds, but hopefully that will be gone soon. Good luck out there!
