Good morning everyone. The breezy conditions we have look to give way to calmer conditions for the weekend, so hopefully the good fishing we’ve had of late will return. Bait has returned to the beaches, bringing with it plenty of Bluefish, some bigger Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, and increasing numbers of Snook. Spoons, jigs, and even topwater plugs have been effective. Pompano numbers have improved a bit, but still not overwhelming. Offshore anglers have encountered scattered Sailfish, Dolphin, and the occasional Blackfin Tuna in the 200′ range, as well as Kingfish in the 70′ to 80′ range. Snook fishing in the inlets has been steady, along with Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. Inshore, Snook continue to be the best bet, with some larger fish found on the flats and along shorelines up and down the Treasure Coast. There have been a few Seatrout being caught near the inlets, and Redfish numbers have remained so-so. Good luck out there, and have a Happy Easter.
