Good morning everyone. The inlets have been quite good of late, with Snook at the top of the bill, Daytime anglers fishing live bait have been catching good numbers of Snook in Fort Pierce, and over slot Redfish have been frequently caught as well. For the evening shift, jigs have been the ticket for Snook, and Tarpon are taking swim baits and plugs around the mouth of the inlet. Nearshore, Spanish Mackerel have been the ticket north of Fort Pierce Inlet, taking spoons, jigs, and Gotcha plugs. The surf has been very difficult, pretty rough and dirty, not much activity. Inshore has been decent, with Redfish catches from Round Island south toward Fort Pierce, and some Seatrout catches north close to Sebastian Inlet, mostly on soft plastics. Larger Snook are still on the flats as well, with live bat and soft plastics accounting for most of the success. Offshore has been difficult with the rough seas. Good luck out there.
