Good morning everyone. Offshore has been decent, with some scattered Sailfish, taking mostly live bait, in 80′ to 100′ of water. Kingfish have also been active in the 70′ to 80′ range. and Spanish Mackerel fishing has been really good nearshore, taking spoons, jigs, and bait. Surf fishing has been so-so, with some good days for Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and Jack Crevalle, followed by slower days. Pompano fishing has been inconsistent, but anglers putting in the time are producing a few fish. Sand fleas have been absent all season, but clams, Fish Bites, and Fish Gum have all been effective. Snook fishing in the inlets has remained solid on live bait in the day and jigs at night, and Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel have also been active. Inshore, Redfish have still been on the shorelines where you find clean water, and some bigger Snook have been providing opportunities and frustration in equal parts on the flats. These over slot fish are never easy, but a few have fallen to live bait and well-placed soft plastics and flies. Activity fish such as Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, and others have also kept anglers busy. Good luck out there.
