Good morning everyone. We’ve had a tough patch of weather, but it does look like Saturday offers a bit of a reprieve. The inlets have yielded some good Snook catches on live bait during the day, and on jigs at night, and the Fort Pierce bridges have also been productive at night. Surf fishing has been a bit rough, but there are still Spanish Mackerel and Jack Crevalle being caught in the AM, as greenies have been prevalent along the beaches. Offshore, the Sailfish bite perked up with the northerly turn in the wind, mostly on live bait. Redfish numbers are definitely better in the IRL than they’ve been for a while, mostly being caught along mangrove shorelines in the area north of Wabasso on soft plastics and live shrimp. Quality Seatrout have also been caught of late, while Snook have been a bit tougher due to the colder temps. Good luck out there.
