Good morning everyone. The Indian River has been clearing a bit, hopefully that trend will continue with the cooler temps to come. Redfish numbers have been improving, mostly near the inlets and the cleaner water that surrounds them. There are also good Snook numbers, falling mostly for soft plastics and live bait. Seatrout continue to be caught along the spoil islands on live shrimp and soft plastics, and some larger ones have been on the flats as well. Sebastian Inlet has been yielding some large Redfish as well as Snook, on live bait during the day, and jigs at night. Fort Pierce Inlet has had good numbers of Tarpon in the evenings, with Hogy Paddle Tails working as well as anything. Offshore has been difficult with the recent high winds, with more of that on the horizon. For those that have ventured out. the Sailfish bite has been inconsistent, maybe the cooler weather coming will spark a better bite. Surf fishing overall has quieted down with the rougher conditions, but there have been a decent number of Pompano caught at Jaycee Park in Fort Pierce on sand fleas, clams, and Fish Bites. Good luck out there.
