Good morning everyone. Surf fishing has had one of the better weeks in some time, with the mullet run in full swing, providing opportunities to chase Snook, Tarpon, sharks, Jack Crevalle, Bluefish, and others from the sand, or in skiffs and bay boats near shore. Large plugs, spoons, swim baits, and live mullet have all been productive. Pompano anglers are also seeing their prospects rise, with more fish pushing down into the area, taking sand fleas, Fish Bites, and Fish Gum in decent numbers. Offshore, Dolphin are being caught in 120′ to 150′ of water, mostly on live bait, and Kingfish action in 70′ to 80′ of water is decent as well. Mangrove Snapper fishing in 70′ to 80′ of water has been the best bet offshore. Sebastian Inlet has been producing some over slot Redfish, and good Snook catches at night, along with some Tarpon. Fort Pierce has been good for both Snook and Tarpon as well. The Indian River has been best at night around the bridges for Snook, and some activity along the shorelines for Snook on live bait during the day. Good luck out there.
