Good morning everyone. Looks like we have a few tough days of weather, and then hopefully things will start to get back to normal. Offshore, anglers are anxiously awaiting the three day opening of Red Snapper season from July 9th thru the 11th. Sailfish have been very active in the 60′ to 80′ depth range, as have Kingfish, with live bait working best for both. Before the weather deteriorated, surf fishing was picking up, with bait showing up in decent numbers along the shore. Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, and others have all been active at times, so hopefully after this storm passes we should have some good activity. Snook fishing in the inlets has been hit or miss, but there has been a good Mangrove Snapper bite at Sebastian. Inshore, likely runoff and predicted overcast conditions will likely make sight fishing difficult, but fishing culverts and relief canals or Snook and baby Tarpon should get active. Good luck out there.
