Good morning everyone. Sailfish activity has been the highlight offshore, with solid catches, mostly on live bait in 80′ to 100′ of water. Mangrove Snapper have also been active at night in 70′ to 80′ of water. Inshore, the recent rains haven’t yet significantly dirtied up the IRL, so sight fishing is still possible, at least for now. Baby Tarpon activity has also been really good, taking flies such as gurglers early, as well as soft plastics. Redfish numbers have also been on the rise, in areas around John’s Island and south near Round Island. Snook numbers continue to be solid as well. Surf conditions have been good, and some nice Snook have rewarded those putting the time in, but the numbers haven’t been great yet. Those sight fishing in the brighter portions of the day have had the best production, while the lack of bait has made early morning less productive. There has also been some larger Jack Crevalle caught from shore as well on spoons and larger plugs. Good luck out there.
