Good morning everyone, Fall is officially here. The cooler north wind that arrived this morning is sure to mix things up a bit. This weather change is likely to accelerate the mullet migration, leading to lots of species partaking in the action, from Snook and Tarpon to Jack Crevalle and Spanish Mackerel. Match the size of the mullet with either swim baits from Hogy and others, to plugs like the Yo-Zuri twitch baits and topwater such as Zara Spooks for the best activity. It’s likely that the larger mullet will be showing up in greater numbers soon. Sebastian Inlet has produced decent numbers of Snook in the evenings and early morning on flare jigs and live finger mullet, while Ft. Pierce has been a bit better inside near the bridges. Offshore, the Dolphin bite was good over the weekend, and this front should start to improve the Sailfish bite. Inshore, find the bait, and you’re likely to find Snook and bigger Jack Crevalle, along with some Seatrout. Redfish have also been around in the shallows as well. Good luck out there.
