Good morning everyone. The recent weather has made most fishing fairly difficult, but conditions are improving day to day, with rather good conditions here for the weekend. For the surf angler, the swell looks to subside by the weekend, and the mullet run should resume in full force, as there have been numerous sightings of bait well outside over the last few days. Look for Tarpon and Snook activity to ramp up, with larger plugs and swimbaits by Hogy and Savage being good bets to score. The inlets have also been slow, but the reduced wave action and cleaner conditions will improve that as well. Sebastian has produced some Snook on the interior rocks in the evening and early mornings, mostly on jigs and swimbaits. In the Indian River, the abundance of bait has kept the Snook and baby Tarpon active around seawalls and docks, with Jack Crevalle doing their fair share as well. DOA Bait Busters and similar baits have produced some of the better Snook, along with live bait. Good luck out there.
