Good morning anglers,
The offshore fishing has been getting better with with a few kingfish along the beach, scattered dolphin from 90ft to 300ft, and sailfish along the wrecks and reef. The grouper bite has been getting better with fish being caught from 80ft to 180ft. The King of The South tournament ended yesterday with Doug Miller on the Miller Tyme winning with 110.51 pounds aggregate weight, 2nd place Bubba Addison on the Net Profit with 91.40 pounds, and 3rd place Dan Dixon on the Mud But with 83 pounds.
The inshore fishing has been good with trout and redfish around the spoil islands to the north. There has been a few snook and tarpon caught on the incoming tide around the inlet and south jetty on plugs and bucktails. The bonefishing in the Bahamas has been good as well with many fish caught on live shrimp along with fly.
The Archery dept. still has the sale going on 20% off everything in the section.
There are some new products in the inshore dept. with Logic Lures soft plastics, and tandem rigs.
Good Luck, Jon
