Good morning, offshore fishing has been scattered along our coast over the few days. Scattered dolphin, kingfish, and a few sailfish have been caught over the last few days. There have been few spots or depths to pin point any one location on the chart. Bottom fishing remains strong for grouper, snapper and amberjack.
Inshore, your typical summer time fishing in the lagoon remains the same. You will want to get out early before it gets to hot and the afternoon thunder storms pop up over the land mass and move east. Trout fishing has been good over all and anglers have been producing results with live pigfish, and artificial lures. Tarpon are moving along our beaches and in to the Ft. Pierce inlet. Snook fishing has been good around the areas bridges and in the inlet for some decent catch and release action.
After 39+ years, this will be my last fishing report from White's Tackle Shop. As I step off the dock into the waters of my retired years, I would like to say thank you to all of our customers (FRIENDS) for their loyalty to the shop and the families who have piloted this ship through the 87 years we have been in business. I will certainly miss the conversations we have had over the years and hope to see you out and about.
TIGHT LINES AND HAVE A GREAT DAY, Donald.
