Good morning, grouper and snapper continue to dominate offshore reports as most anglers have been bottom fishing to offset the slow trolling action. Sailfish and some scattered dolphin have been caught from 80' to 250' on trolled bally-hoo. Push button hill saw some action for gaffer sized dolphin and sailfish yesterday. Kingfish have been in short supply along our coast but can be found in 55'-120' with live baits and Drone spoons.
Inshore, snook fishing has been good as we approach the summer closed season (June 1 through August 31). Fresh water run off stimulates the snook and they get very active during the summer through the rainy season. Trout fishing has been good across the lagoon and anglers are finding them with both live bait and artificial lures. A few mangrove snapper have been caught along the channel edges with live shrimp. Tarpon have moved along the beach and into the inlet at Ft. Pierce and will take a live pilchard or live mullet.
We have received a shipment of the new color changing YO-ZURI Sashimi lures and are in stock for you look through.
Have a great day, Donald.
