Good morning, calmer sea conditions are fore cast for the rest of the week and folks are chomping at the bit to get back offshore. Anglers were quickly preparing for a trip to the corner in search of tuna and wahoo later this week. Look for dolphin, cobia, wahoo and kingfish in our coastal waters. Bally-hoo and drone spoons will get you some action on the above species mentioned. Chartreuse jigs work well on the cobia.
Inshore, snook fishing has slowed a little at the south jetty in Ft. Pierce. Kadri Benton reported a big crowd at the jetty prevented him from finding much action on snook overnight. Capt. Scott Crippen reported a good day in the lagoon for snook, redfish and trout on fly yesterday morning.
Starting May 1st the 45 day format KING OF THE SOUTH FISHING TOURNAMENT. This unique format allows you to pick your days to fish from May 1st through June 14th. The Captain's meeting is this Saturday April 28th at White's Tackle, 1106 South US 1 in Ft. Pierce at 5:00 pm.
Have a great day, Donald.
