Good morning, strong easterly winds have prevented folks from fishing offshore, a long the beach and in the surf.
Inshore, we have had a real good snook bite going on in the Ft. Pierce inlet after the sun sets. Anglers there have been catching plenty of in the slot size snook on jigs around structure fishing from boats and from the south jetty. Bluefish and flounder have also been caught in the inlet and off the south jetty. Live shrimp and jigs tipped with shrimp have been producing a mixed bag of flounder, bluefish, ladyfish and snook.
