Good morning, offshore reports continue to trickle in to the store indicating some dolphin, kingfish and sailfish action. Depending on what kind of swell we get from hurricane Katia we will file a report on conditions and results from those that venture out. Devin Silas reported 2 for 4 sailfish in 180′ fishing near a shrimp boat. The scattered dolphin reports came from 350′ and on Sunday there was a good edge in 130′.
Inshore, with the mullet run in full swing the snook, jacks, tarpon, and bluefish are wreaking havoc on the mullet schools along the beaches and in the inlet. Redfish have been reported in the lagoon in good numbers but the trout fishing has seemed to taper off a bit. The redfish have been hitting on a copper flats intruder spoons and Mister Twister Exudes.
Have a great day, Donald.
