Good afternoon, sorry for the delay in our fishing report but our internet connection was down. Bottom fishing remains good for grouper, snapper, sea bass and amberjack. Chris Blackwell reported a good catch of amberjack on live bait at an unrevealed location. Kingfishing has returned in 80 feet of water using drone spoons and live bait. Every now and then we will hear a report where someone found some dolphin or a sailfish. Near shore there are large schools of glass minnows on the beach and the snook have been busting into the schools.
Inshore, Capt. Bruddy Tyson of www.fishverobeach .com reported a good catch of mangrove snapper yesterday along the channel of the Intra-coastal on live shrimp. We also received reports of sandperch off the catwalk of the south bridge. Fishing for jack crevalle can always be challenging and the south jetty last night provided ample opportunity.
Have a great day, Donald.
