Good morning, the fishing offshore continues to be a little slow for trolling. Bottom fishing has been producing some good snapper, grouper and sea bass fishing lately. Some cobia were caught in 60 feet of water yesterday and some mutton snapper have been caught along the beaches in 18′-20′ after sunset.
Inshore, there has been a few trout around the Bear Point area but all in all they have not been very active in the warm water of the lagoon. Catch and release action for snook in the inlet and around the south jetty has been good after sunset as well. Mangrove snapper fishing along the channel edges has been to be a good way to fill your table fare.
Have a great weekend, Donald.
