Good morning, windy weather yesterday generated by tropical storm Bret kept offshore boats in port.
Inshore, the windy weather stirred up the water enough to get the snook in the feeding mood. Kadri Benton and Jon Repass fishing the south jetty in Ft. Pierce last evening caught and released 6 snook between the 2 of them. Kadri and Jon were using a white with purple runner red tail hawk type jig. Mike Bunnell reported catching some trout north in the lagoon around the Indian River county line using a golden bream color Exude Dart. Tarpon were in the inlet last night blowing up on mullet. One angler hooked a tarpon between 80#-100# using a Bomber Wind Cheater.
Have a great day, Donald.
