Good morning,
We have started to get a bit of a dolphin run going on off the Treasure Coast. It’s usually about this time our little green friends show up in good numbers and continue throughout the Spring. Several guys yesterday caught good numbers of dolphin from 5-20 pounds. We should start seeing some larger ones in April. There were a couple wahoos caught yesterday as well as a few nice cobias. Speaking of cobias, they are thick to the North from the Cape up for those looking to make a run.
Several friends ran across this morning to look for yellowfins so we will post up tomorrow on their findings.
Inshore is still good. The big full moon slowed the day bite down a bit yesterday, but we are still seeing good numbers of reds, big trout, and some nice snook. Look for the trout to reach their heaviest weights of the year in the next few weeks. As long as we don’t have any more substantially cold weather we should be looking at good water temps and good Spring Fishing!!!!
Have a Great Weekend!
