Good morning,
This week there has been a good kingfish bite on the 50-60′ reefs. I heard of several fish in the mid to upper thirties. There has also been a good kingfish bite on the offshore bar all the way from the inlet North to Sebastian. The cobia fishing is hit or miss. Manta Rays have been offshore a piece and smaller bat rays have been close in, both holding cobia. There were a handful of dolphin caught offshore of the Fort yesterday in 160′. I didn’t hear of anything big, but most were between 8-18 pounds. There is still some fantastic wahoo fishing going on in the Bahamas. We have received awesome reports from as close as the corner all the way to Cat Island.
Inshore fishing has still been pretty good. Redfish are still cooperating as are the seatrout. The water has finally started to warm up and most flats fish are getting pretty active. There is still a great pompano bite from South Ft. Pierce to Stuart along spoil islands and the larger sand bars.
Have a great day, get out and get after it, looks like the highs are going to be close to 80 all week!
