Good morning, inshore yesterday provided anglers with plenty of action. Last night the south jetty at Ft. Pierce was the place to be for some find redfish action. Anglers described it as, just about every cast you would hook a redfish. They were throwing pink redtail hawks. Bluefish continue to dominate the beaches and inlet with pompano and spanish mackerel thrown into the mix. Captain Scott Crippen guided his charter to a nice catch of 15+ redfish and 6 trout on the flats in the lagoon. They were using a mix of baits including, Mirrolure’s soft shads, Gulps and Marsh Works Bayou Thumpers. If you have the time to wet a line this week either inshore or offshore should provide you with some great angling action.
Have a good day, Donald.
