Good morning, there were no reports from offshore yesterday due to difficult sea conditions. The reports from over the week end were few, but encouraging for some good dolphin and sailfish action when conditions improve. Boat captains and mates are busy preparing for the up coming sailfish season sure to be packed with some down to the wire excitement. Be sure to stop by and see our new and expanded offshore selection.
Inshore, we are getting reports of anglers trolling a long the edges of the Intracoastal waterway for grouper. This is a normal pattern for this time of year using Mirrolure’s 111s lures, your choice of color. Ft. Pierce mayor Bob Benton caught and released 3 under sized snook last night at the south jetty in Ft. Pierce using flare hawks. In general the snook fishing tapered off over the week end but should get back to normal as a cold front approaches this week.
Have a good day and tight lines, Donald.
