Good morning,
There have been a few sailfish slowly trickling down the pipe. The fishing to the North of us is still great with most boats catching plenty of sailfish. Offshore of Ft. Pierce the dolphin and blackfin tuna bite has been good. The tunas are around the deep wrecks and the best dolphin fishing has been from 125′-225′. The beach is starting to come alive in it’s fall state. Some bluefish have showed up, plenty of big jacks, kings, spanish, and even some tarpon left over.
Inshore, has been challenging. There are still a lot of redfish around and the snook fishing seems to be improving. We saw plenty of reds yesterday but had a hard time getting them to eat. The bait in the river was incredible yesterday. Millions of pilchards moved into the river along with huge schools of glass minnows. It looks like awesome weather for a while so get out there and get to it!
