Good morning,
Fishing is heating up along with the weather. We received many good reports from both offshore and inshore this weekend. Offshore there were plenty of dolphin caught. A lot of the fish were schoolies but there were quite a few fish up to twenty pounds caught as well. There were tons of kingfish around in the 40-50′ areas as well as the big reef. I heard of some cobias on the reef and I saw several on the beach. The tarpon and permit fishing has slowed down due to spotty cold pockets on the beach.
Inshore there are a bunch of top slot redfish around and they are smoking top-eater plugs. She-dogs seem to work best with a high pitched rattle. Snook fishing is awesome on the beach and in the inlet.
Get out there!
